INVERCLYDE Royal Hospital is to get a share of spending announced by the Scottish Government.
Greenock and Inverclyde MSP Stuart McMillan says IRH, along with Glasgow Royal Infirmary, will benefit directly from £3.5 million of additional capital funding.
He said there will also be a pilot scheme to extend minor ailments services at Inverclyde pharmacies.
The MSP said: “The service for community pharmacies will explore increasing access to appropriate primary care.
“This reaffirms the SNP government’s priority for ensuring health services in Inverclyde are of the highest quality and provide the best possible care for patients.”
