A MAN charged with dealing cocaine from a Larkfield home is also accused of racing through roadworks and a pedestrian crossing in a car at more than double the speed limit.
Kevin Murray allegedly drove his vehicle on Glasgow Road in Port Glasgow at a 'grossly excessive speed of around 80mph', according to court papers.
The 33-year-old is said to have travelled through a zebra crossing and roadworks in the built-up area on May 7 in 2022 when the speed limit was 30mph.
Murray and co-accused Kenneth Harkness, 32, are charged with being concerned in the supply of the class A drug from an address on June 1 last year.
Both men, of Lothian Road, were absent from a hearing at Greenock Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A trial has been scheduled for March 27.
