MORE than 130 babies were born across Inverclyde in the last quarter of 2023.
Data released by National Records of Scotland reveals that a total of 139 tots arrived between October 1 and December 31 last year.
Of the babies born, 70 were registered as girls and 69 as boys.
Across Scotland as a whole, parents registered 11,332 babies within the same time period - 5,611 girls and 5,721 boys.
