A DRIVER suspected of crashing his car in Greenock whilst under the influence refused to give breath samples to police, it is alleged.
Joseph McCall is accused of failing to provide information to officers investigating an incident on Cornhaddock Street on July 11 last year.
The 60-year-old, of St John's Road in Gourock, was suspected of being involved in a collision that afternoon while behind the wheel of his Skoda vehicle.
It is claimed that McCall failed to cooperate with a preliminary roadside breath test.
He is also charged with failing without reasonable excuse to provide two specimens of breath for further analysis at Greenock police office.
McCall, represented by lawyer Gerry Keenan, denies the allegations and a trial has been scheduled for April 15.
