COUNCILLORS are set to decide whether to approve an application to use a flat in the centre of Gourock for short term letting after it attracted almost a dozen objections.
Plans to use a two-bedroom flat on Admirals Court, Kempock Street for short-term lets are set to go in front of the local authority's Planning Board on Wednesday.
The council says it has received 11 representations opposing the application, which seeks permission for the flat to be let year-round with one to four guests accommodated at a time.
Concerns that the flat could be used for parties or lead to anti-social behaviour are among those raised by objectors.
Council officers are recommending that the plans be approved by Planning Board members subject to a number of conditions.
