POLICE say there were 13 offences committed relating to incidents at a notorious channelised junction in Gourock over the last three years.
Under freedom of information laws the Telegraph asked for statistics on incidents at the junction of Cardwell Road, Larkfield Road and Broomberry Drive.
Of the offences listed, three drivers were arrested for driving carelessly.
Two were detained for driving without a licence, two for drug/drink offences and one motorist was arrested for driving while disqualified.
The period covered January 2021 until December 2023.
In January this year ex-councillor Ronnie Ahlfeld and his wife Rose were involved in a serious road accident at the junction.
