THE Inverclyde Muslim Centre on Laird Street has invited people to a celebration event for Iftar on Friday at 8pm.
Iftar is the meal served at sunset during each day of Ramadan as Muslims break the daily fast.
A spokesperson for the centre said the aim of the event is to bring communities across Inverclyde together and help them understand each other.
Guests from Inverclyde Council have been invited to attend.
Dinner will be provided.
