THE next meeting of Inverclyde Historical Society will take place in Greenock on Thursday.
Members will gather at Lyle Gateway within the Lyle Kirk on Union Street for the talk which will begin at 2pm.
Society president Isabel Lind will give a presentation on Greenock and its Irish connections.
The Lyle Gateway cafe will be open before the talk begins for people who would like to have a light lunch.
All are welcome.
