FOUR people have been arrested in connection with an alleged serious assault on a 50-year-old man in Greenock over the weekend.
Two men, both aged 18, plus two youths aged 16 and 17, have been detained and charged following an incident which took place on the corner of Nicolson Street and West Shaw Street in the early hours of Sunday.
It happened around 12.50am and left a man in hospital.
Police Scotland say the arrested quartet are due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today.
