THE Beacon Arts Centre has revealed this year's panto will be Jack and the Beanstalk - as they announce open auditions for performers to join the cast.

They are on the lookout for two females and two males who are trained dancers and singers to star in the flagship show.

The arts centre hopes to follow the success of their record breaking run of Beauty and the Beast last year.

The  ensemble open auditions are taking place later this month, with dance workshops and then call backs for music.

Auditionees should bring a CV and a backing track with one pop or musical theatre song.

The open auditions take place on Wednesday April 24 at the UK Theatre School Performing Arts Academy, in West Regent Street, Glasgow from 10am.

Rehearsals begin in November and the contract ends with the last show on December 31.

Auditionees are welcome to register their intention to audition in advance by emailing recuitment@beaconartscentre.co.uk or to turn up on the day and sign up.
