A STALWART Scouting leader who passed away will be remembered at a memorial service on Monday.
Bill McCaig sadly died suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday March 30.
A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at the Lyle Kirk in Greenock from 1pm.
Those attending who wish to be part of the guard of honour on the church steps should gather outside by 12.40pm.
Bill was a Scout leader in 32nd Greenock & District for many years and held a variety of group and district executive roles.
Most recently, he was district appointments chair and gang show business manager.
Bill was a much-loved family man and enjoyed spending time with his wife Shoona, his son Ross and daughter Sara, along with her husband Steven and their two children.
A spokesperson for the 32nd Greenock & District said Bill will be missed by his family, friends and wider Scouting family.
