EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene of a crash in Gourock yesterday which left one person injured.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that a crew attended Cloch Road after a car collided with parked vehicles around 4pm on Thursday near the ferry terminal, which we reported yesterday.
One casualty was treated by the ambulance crew for injuries while another was checked over at the roadside.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.56pm on Thursday, May 2 to reports of a collision involving two vehicles at Cloch Road, Gourock.
“Operations Control mobilised one fire appliance to the scene of a collision involving one car and two parked cars.
“Firefighters assisted emergency service partners by making the area safe.
“One casualty was in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and crews are currently still at the scene.”
An eye witnesses told the Tele: "One vehicle has drove into two parked car causing a knock on effect and another car was damaged.
"On person looked injured and another was getting checked over by ambulance on the scene."
