THE chief executive at nationalised shipyard Ferguson Marine David Tydeman has been given his marching orders for reasons that the public are not fully aware of.

If one looks at Mr Tydeman’s past experience we can see that he has sound technical knowledge of the shipbuilding industry, more so that anyone sitting in Holyrood.

I have now lost count of how many chief executive officers have had their contracts terminated under the SNP devolved administration.

If indeed Mr Tydeman’s performance was considered below par then the dismissal maybe in order.

That being the case, how come that no one from the SNP administration has been given their marching orders?

They are after all in charge of Ferguson Marine.

I am looking forward to a detailed explanation from Messrs Cowan or McMillan.
