THRILLSEEKERS have reached new heights at Ravenscraig Activity Centre over the Easter holidays.
Boys and girls from all over Greenock have been reaching for the sky in climbing sessions at the busy centre while the schools are off.
Adventurous youngsters of all ages booked in for lessons with Inverclyde Leisure instructors.
The centre boasts an amazing array of colourful climbing walls, each composed of different materials.
Boys and girls have been climbing up the centre's apparatus, with some reaching the top of the walls, exercising and developing their concentration skills and spatial awareness at the same time.
Youngsters took on the task to scale everything from tyre walls to the front of a house.
X-Height climbing sessions were introduced at centre back in 2016 and have proved hugely popular.
Each 25ft wall at the facility provides climbers with a new challenge and a different experience.
Youngsters climb with a harness and a device called an auto belay which takes up the slack of the rope.
When the Telegraph visited, instructor Jason Dinnie spoke to the boys and girls before their session to make sure everyone understood the safety guidelines, and then supported the youngsters as they scaled the walls.
All of the boys and girls in the group got the chance to try out all of the fun structures and develop their skills.
Youngsters have been taking part in a wide range of Inverclyde Leisure activities over the Easter holidays including ice skating, soft play, and swimming.
